An accounting practice run by people who have actually closed books.
Accounting Is Worth It is the bookkeeping, tax, and outsourced-finance practice of Worth It Consulting. We work with operators who would rather spend their week running the business than chasing receipts.
Why we built this
Most growing companies hit the same wall: a part-time bookkeeper is no longer enough, but a full-time controller is too expensive and probably the wrong shape for the work. Tax preparers see the books once a year and find problems that should have been caught in February. CPAs that consult on strategy do not want to do the day-to-day close. Owners end up holding the bag.
We built this practice to be one team for all of it — books, tax, AP, AR, reporting, and a real finance lead when the company needs one. One firm. One bill. One person who knows the answer.
How we work
Flat monthly fees, scoped to the work. Senior accountants on every account, supported by structured processes and documented workpapers. We close on a schedule. We file on time. We tell you about issues before they become problems.
What we will not do
- Hourly billing or surprise invoices
- R&D tax credit work — if you need it, we refer to a specialist firm
- Audit attest work — we are not an audit firm
- Legal opinions — those come from your counsel
- Investment advice — we are not financial advisors
